We’re looking for an experienced Senior Process Surveillance Engineer to join our high-performing Operations team in Perth. In this permanent position, you’ll lead process surveillance strategies that drive value, reduce production losses, and enhance energy efficiency across our assets.
What you'll do:
You will be accountable for end-to-end process surveillance—ensuring production optimisation, asset health, and value creation through smart, data-driven decisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning the Asset Surveillance Plan, ensuring optimal data capture for safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Leading daily to long-term surveillance activities—from troubleshooting and short-term optimisation to identifying system improvements and value uplift opportunities.
- Analysing performance trends to highlight bottlenecks, drive debottlenecking initiatives, and improve yield.
- Collaborating across functions—well services, operations, asset teams—to align on performance opportunities and risk mitigation.
- Providing technical leadership in managing production risk, surveillance execution and interpretation, and system improvement strategies.
- Supporting broader cost reduction and energy efficiency initiatives through production system insight.
What you'll bring:
- A degree in Engineering (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Significant experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in operations phase production and process engineering.
- Hands-on experience in offshore and LNG operations is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and communicate across disciplines and levels.
- Proven ability to develop strategies and systems and to deliver these in an Operational environment.
- Deep understanding of the hydrocarbon value chain, from reservoir to delivery.
- Strong diagnostic skills—able to pinpoint system constraints and deliver optimisation solutions.
