About the Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable, and optimised performance of our LNG facility. You’ll work across a diverse range of engineering disciplines and operational teams, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the long-term success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert process engineering support across LNG, Combined Cycle Power Plant, and Utilities systems.
- Lead the development of process documentation, simulations, and technical studies.
- Monitor operating integrity envelopes and respond to emergent threats to production and reliability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including operations, maintenance, HSE, and commercial.
- Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and technical reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to recruitment efforts.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards, safety cases, and performance standards.
What we’re looking for:
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge in process engineering, ideally within LNG or downstream operations.
- Familiarity with process safety, equipment reliability, and technical systems (e.g., HYSYS, OLGA, SCADA).
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing engineering change.
- Excellent communication, planning, and time management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Current Australian driver’s licence and access to transport to Bladin Point.
This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Darwin.
