We are seeking a SURF Manager to join our INPEX Development team in Perth on an Employee 3 Year Max Term contract. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.

 

This role will lead the delivery of the SURF package for the Phase 2c Offshore Project, driving successful outcomes across engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation readiness activities. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective project delivery while providing technical leadership, managing critical interfaces and supporting the development of a high-performing project team.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of the SURF package ensuring safe execution within scope, schedule and budget. 
  • Provide leadership across engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing and installation readiness activities. 
  • Manage key interfaces across subsea systems, drilling, construction, fabrication and operations teams. 
  • Monitor contractor performance against technical, commercial, quality and schedule commitments. 
  • Lead technical risk management and support project decision-making. 
  • Develop and coach project team members while fostering a culture of safety and accountability. 
  • Build strong relationships with joint venture partners, contractors and stakeholders. 

 

What we’re looking for:

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You will be a strong fit for this role if you bring: 

  • Bachelor of Engineering or related engineering qualification. 
  • Experience leading complex offshore project packages through DEFINE and EXECUTE phases. 
  • Strong expertise in subsea systems and offshore development projects. 
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage technical interfaces. 
  • Experience in project governance, assurance and risk management. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement. 

 

This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Perth.
