The Ichthys Phase 2c Offshore Project is the final planned development of the Ichthys Field, consisting of the the drilling, completion and tie-in of five local Brewster wells to existing drill centres, and the drilling and completion and tie-in of four Plover wells and two Brewster wells at new drill centres.

 

We are seeking a Lead Contracts Engineer to join our INPEX Development team in Perth on an Employee 3 Year Max Term contract. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • The Lead Contracts Engineer shall be responsible for the end-to-end management and co-ordination of all Ichthys Phase 2c Offshore project contracts through DEFINE-stage, EXECUTE-stage and close-out.
  • Act as a SME for the project as related to contracts management.
  • Daily communication with key stakeholders including but not limited to Phase 2c Offshore Project Controls Manager & Lead, Delivery Manager, Package Leads, Legal, Senior Contracts Engineer, Cost Controllers and Document Controllers are essential to support the project effectively.
  • Provide support, direction and mentoring to Senior Contracts Engineers.

 

What we’re looking for:

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You will be a strong fit for this role if you bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or construction management.
  • Extensive contracts management experience in senior positions for EPC projects and Brownfield’s execution.
  • Demonstratable experience in a Company / client organization in an Oil & Gas project environment.
  • Major subsea development project experience is highly desired.

 

This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Perth.
