We are seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to join our INPEX ILNG team in Darwin.

Key responsibilities include:

 

      • Visible leadership and demonstrable commitment to the development and sustainability of a HSE performance excellence culture.
      • Ensure safety remains the highest priority in all plant activities, with a strong focus on both Process Safety and Occupational Health & Safety.
      • Provide leadership and direction for the maintenance execution team, covering planned and unplanned maintenance scopes, campaigns, shutdowns, coating and insulation and project execution activities.
      • Optimise and manage the execution of maintenance activities in liaison with the Maintenance, Production, Campaign, Shut Down and Planning Teams ensuring all necessary safety and integrity requirements are fulfilled whilst maximising production volumes, plant reliability and availability.
      • Manage the implementation and ongoing performance of both major service contractors as well as minor contractors.
      • Lead and deliver maintenance efficiency improvement programs.
      • Facilitate maintenance budget development, cost forecasting and cost control programs.
      • Work collaboratively with all teams including Production, ISSOW, Maintenance, Campaigns, Shut Down, Brownfields, HSE, Business Services, Offshore and Corporate Functions to contribute to preparation of annual delivery plans for products.
      • Maintain CMMS data such as work instructions, task lists and BOMs to ensure accurate safe working procedures are available and utilised.

 

Successful candidates will have:

 

      • A technical trade, project or engineering diploma or degree in a Mechanical, Instrumentation or Electrical discipline
      • Experience working the Oil & Gas industry with demonstrated experience working in Leadership level positions
      • Experience with the use of CMMS systems (SAP / 4HANA preferred)
      • Contractor management experience, both in the implementation and ongoing performance monitoring of major maintenance contracts
      • Strong interpersonal skills in influencing and teamwork
      • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement
