We are seeking expressions of interest from Electrical Engineering Students to join our INPEX Engineering team in Darwin on a 12-week paid placement.

About the INPEX Vacation Student Program:
Kick‑start your career with the INPEX Vacation Student Program—a structured, 12‑week paid experience designed for university students in their penultimate year of study. This is your chance to step into the energy industry, build real skills, and see what your future career could look like.
As a Vacation Student, you’ll work side‑by‑side with industry experts, gaining hands‑on experience and contributing to meaningful projects that support our operations. You won’t be watching from the sidelines—you’ll be part of the team, tackling real challenges and learning in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Throughout the program, you’ll have opportunities to grow your technical capability, expand your professional network, and experience the INPEX culture from the inside.
The INPEX 2026-27 Vacation Student Program will run from the 23RD November 2026 to 12TH February 2027.

What you need:

- Be in your penultimate (2nd last) year of their bachelor’s or master’s degree with major in electrical engineering or similar related field of study
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency at time of application.
- Be motivated, proactive and have an interest in the energy industry.
- Have excellent communication skills with a strong academic history.
- Have a collaborative personality and thrive while working in a team
- Current and valid drivers licence
